Stop by the Office for "Top Five" Movie Passes!

The Arizona Informant would like to invite you to a special advanced screening of “Top Five”. Stop by the AZI office (1301 E. Washington St.) to pick up passes while supplies last.

“TOP FIVE digs under the surface of show business, politics, rap, and the exigencies of being black and famous today—holding it all up to the light in the way only Chris Rock can. Mingling echoes of Woody Allen and Dick Gregory with the energy of Kanye West and Jay Z, TOP FIVE is an original and radically new kind of American movie.”- www.topfivemovie.com

    Dear Friend;
    It is not always easy for Americans to realize the impact of its wars on the people in other nations, or even at times their effect on our own young men and women in the military. However, those wars have also made the lives of many Americans in general harder, because they gobbled up money that could have improved the lives of our fellow citizens. One way it did this was by depriving people here at home of the opportunity to get a college education.
    According to The Costs of War Project at Brown University, the total costs for our two wars against Iraq and the one against Afghanistan was $4.4 trillion. That was enough money to allow everyone in our nation to go to college for nearly a decade free of charge.
    Sincerely yours,
    James A. Lucas, anti-war activist
